The 1st edition of the Water Resources and Energy Systems Conference 2026 focuses on the nexus between energy, in a context of increasing decarbonization of our societies, and the availability of water resources, even in competition with uses other than the energy sector ones. The purpose of the EW Conference is to promote research on the Energy-Water Nexus by supporting the interconnection of the community working on this topic, thus fostering the exchange of knowledge and ideas between academic research groups and industrial teams. We are committed to developing and supporting a climate of multidisciplinary cultural development in which researchers working in this field of growing scientific and social interest can thrive academically and professionally. Plenary lectures, invited talks, presentations, poster sessions and, finally, social events cover a wide range of thematic areas that will certainly offer cultural insights and ideas to all the attendants.

Il prossimo 9 luglio, ENEA presenta la quindicesima edizione del Rapporto Annuale sull’Efficienza Energetica. Il RAEE 2026 illustra al pubblico i più recenti aggiornamenti sullo stato di attuazione delle politiche adottate in Italia per promuovere lo sviluppo dell’efficienza energetica.

La presentazione dei risultati ottenuti dal nostro paese, verso il raggiungimento degli obiettivi al 2030 e al 2050, rappresenta un’occasione di confronto e dibattito su questi temi tra i principali stakeholder del settore. Una riflessione collettiva in cui i rappresentanti delle istituzioni, dei settori produttivi e della società civile individuano soluzioni condivise al dilemma della transizione sostenibile: ambientale, economica e sociale.

The European Fuel Cells and Hydrogen – Piero Lunghi Conference (EFCH₂) 2026 is a prominent international scientific and industrial event organized by ENEA, in collaboration with ATENA (High Technology District for Energy and Environment), the University of Naples Parthenope, and the University of California, Irvine. The 2026 edition will take place in September on the island of Capri (Naples), at the Grand Hotel Quisisana, welcoming researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers interested in hydrogen, fuel cell technologies, and clean energy systems.

Established in 2005, the conference has developed a strong international reputation and today represents a strategic point of convergence for stakeholders involved in the global energy transition. In real fact, EFCH₂ serves as a key platform for presenting the latest scientific and technological advancements in the field, offering a unique opportunity to foster new collaborations and promote the exchange of technical, industrial, and commercial knowledge related to hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.

The international hydrogen and fuel cell community is invited to submit abstracts by June 22nd, 2026.
